Abandoned Empty Containers
Hundreds of thousands of empty containers abandoned in CGR, create a huge negative impact on the ecology of the region (rusting, problems with utilization, etc.).
These containers are excluded from the World’s container flow and are being replaced by newly produced units leading to unnecessary consumption of resources (iron ore, energy, chemicals for paintings etc.) and negatively impacting the climate change (CO2 emissions).
Taking advantage of the Shippers Own Container (SOC) Option means that …
- Caspian Container Company contributes positively to the environment by RECOVERING, REPAIRING and REUSING containers that would have previously been abandoned.
